6 WORST FERRARIS OF ALL TIME
Ferrari have made some of the greatest cars of all time, but the cars that feature on this list are times that they let their guard down, they cut corners, or simply got the concept wrong from day one.
However, even a bad Ferrari is still better than most other manufacturers' best.
Also I'm putting it out there now, before I start this list, that the Ferrari 348 will not be featuring on this list. I don't care if its successor, the 355, was so good that the 348 became a laughing stock, I love it.
Here are the seven worst Ferraris ever made:
1) FERRARI MONDIAL 8
The Mondial 8 is actually a really pretty car, but when it is parked alongside the rest of the Ferrari portfolio, it soon becomes extremely forgettable. The performance wasn't really there either.
2) FERRARI CALIFORNIA
Another beautifully designed cruiser, but when you know Ferrari are aiming a car at Chelsea and the Hamptons, you die a little inside. Please don't do this again Ferrari.
3) FERRARI 400
Again, even though it's not particularly 'Ferrari' in its design, it still manages to be a gorgeous GT car. However, it falls majorly short in the performance department. Compare this to the 612 Scaglietti, which a lot of you would expect to be on this list, which has vast amount of power and can cruise with the best of them.
4) FERRARI 208 GT4
For God's sake, another Ferrari that looks gorgeous on this list. The first Ferrari made using Bertone rather than Pininfarina as the designer. Originally badged as a Dino, by the time they had badged it as Ferrari, the Ferrari fans had already rejected it.
5) FERRARI 208 GTS
Giving your beloved new product a measly 2.0 litre engine because it goes below certain tax breaks in the domestic Italian market is setting yourself up for an immediate fail. 0-60 in around 8.5 seconds is embarrassing for the prancing horse.
6) FERRARI FXX
The FXX? Have I lost my marbles? No, no I haven't. If you think it's fine to pay £2,000,000 to have a car that you can't drive on the road, and can only drive on track when Ferrari say it's ok, then you've lost your marbles.
If you don't think that the FXX deserves to be on this list because you can't drive it, how about the fact that it looks fucking ugly?
CONCLUSION
Even though these cars aren't up to Ferrari's standards, I'd still bite your hand off to have a go in any of them.
